The Sydney Jacaranda Confucius Classroom offers an enrich language and cultural program that aims to develop Chinese language education and Chinese culture. Teaching program include HSK and YCT for students of different ages and levels, to improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills to prepare for the HSK Chinese language tests. The Classroom also organizes a variety of Chinese cultural emersion activities, such as Chinese calligraphy &painting workshops, tea ceremony, shadow puppets, waist drums, and traditional Chinese handicrafts, etc., to help the local students and community gain a hands on experiences of Chinese culture. Through these activities, students not only experience the essence of traditional Chinese culture, but also strengthen their cross-cultural communication skills.
